Shiv Sena's Immature Tactics for Aaditya Thackeray as CM of Maharashtra
As you are aware, currently there is no government in the state of Maharashtra because Shiv Sena (party) has demanded its dynasty based first time MLA, Aaditya Thackeray to be made CM for 2.5 years (half of the term). This is one of the most absurd demands in Indian political space in the recent times. There are many reasons why this demand is absurd.
Aaditya Thackeray is known to be involved in student politics in his college in Mumbai. He is on Twitter. He raises his voice on cheeky issues that dominate social media, sometimes against his own government, e.g. to stop falling of a few trees. But apart from these reasons, he has no other qualification to be CM. He is only 29+ years old. He is first time MLA and has no experience to be working in administrative or position of power. Whenever a journalist asks him any question, he has a standard answer, "Uddhav ji will decide on this".
Probably the only qualification Aaditya Thackeray has is his "birth". Just because he was born in the Thackeray family, he thinks that he did not need to earn his positions but should get those by default. Does this remind us of someone else too? Good guess - Rahul Gandhi is another such "dynast".
Shiv Sena is claiming to join forces with Congress or NCP to form government; which would be suicidal since these parties' workers fight against each other on the street and they will disown the party for such a step.
At the same time, Shiv Sena is not a good role model for a friend or ally. During last 5 years, SS always criticized most of the big decisions by Modi/BJP govt at the center. Now they are expecting to be rewarded for long history of alliance. Does not work that way.
Also, since Shiv Sena Vs BJP gamble has gone too long, it must be evaluated by both SS and #BJP if the master politician Sharad Pawar is behind the feud or misunderstanding. SS' behavior is weird and fishy. It is almost like cousins fighting in Mahabharata. Is there a Shakuni?
Everyone knows that ShivSena is acting childish and Aaditya Thackeray's image is being harmed because of this crisis. But no one is telling that to the Thackeray family. That is the peril of dynasty - no one tells truth to a tyrant.
And finally, if this is the merit of Shiv Sena, then its MLAs should beware. It makes sense for them to form a group and break away. Shiv Sena is the next NCP - dynasty and cronism will sink its boat.
My suggestion to Devendra Fadnavis and BJP is to do an Atal Behari in Maharashtra. Claim and take oath as CM, since you are the biggest party elected, and seek confidence vote. Dare ShivSena to topple the govt. If Shiv Sena topples the govt, like Atal Ji's 13 days govt, people will give BJP full majority in next election.

Socialist politicians giving freebies to voters
Educated people must not support a party giving "freebies" to voters. Often such parties hide their incompetence and corruption by such acts. In the long run, such socialist policies ruin the economy.
And remember, there are "no free lunches". Someone pays for those freebies. And that is "you" - through taxes!

Is there an ISI Agenda Behind opening the Kartarpur corridor?
Punjab CM Amarinder Singh has declined to travel to Pakistan for inauguration of Kartarpur Corridor. He has also warned about a possible hidden agenda from Pakistan in opening the corridor now, rather than earlier. On this issue, I can get his point and the threat appears real.
Here is a piece of news published by India Today:
Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Wednesday lashed out at Islamabad over a video clip that featured Khalistani separatists, saying this showed Pakistan's hidden agenda in opening the Kartarpur corridor.
The video was released by Pakistan on Monday just days ahead of the inauguration of the corridor that will connect the Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Punjab with Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur in Pakistan.
The clip also showed a poster of a banned pro-Khalistani group, Sikhs for Justice, which is pushing for Sikh Referendum 2020 as part of its separatist agenda.
Commenting on the video clip, Singh told reporters, "All this is what I have been saying from day one, that Pakistan has a hidden agenda here."
Later, in a strongly-worded statement, he warned against the "agenda" of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence behind Islamabad's decision to allow access to the Sikh shrine through the corridor across the border.
"Even though the corridor marked the realisation of the long-cherished dream of the entire Sikh community, including me, to pay respects at the historic shrine, India cannot afford to ignore the ISI threat that was attached to it," he said.
"This is what I have been cautioning against all along, they (the ISI) have a negative agenda behind it. We have to be very careful," he said.
The video, he said, only exposed the true intent of the ISI.
"On the one hand, they are seemingly showing us compassion and humanity, and on the other, they seem intent on using the corridor to woo the Indian Sikhs to promote the ISI-backed 2020 Khalistan Referendum and creating sleeper cells here," he added.
