Maharashtra Train Accident: Not Correct To Blame Govt But If We Do Blame, Congress Gets It More

There has been a tragic accident in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, where 14 migrant workers have been run over by a goods train. The group of workers were traveling from Maharashtra to Madhya Pradesh by walking on the railway track. They were sleeping on the railway track in the darkness of night, when a goods train came. As per the news report, the driver of the train tried to apply the breaks but could not halt it before it hit the people. 14 people have died and several injured.

Congress Party leaders have blamed Modi government for this:

Senior Congress leader Manish Tewari even accused Modi govt with treating people like "human fodder".

First of all, this was a tragic accident due to human mistake. The workers had violated the Lockdown and were trying to leave on their own. Then the migrant workers were sleeping in the darkness of night over a railway track! The accident happened early morning at 5 am. We can't blame "government" or the Railways for this situation. Sleeping on railway track like this was plain foolishness. Even God can't save people all the time people do such foolishness.

If Congress Party leaders want to "blame" Modi government for this, then first it should look within. This accident happened in Maharashtra which is ruled by Con Party too in an alliance. Is it that Con Party is trying to hide the rotten state of affairs in Maharashtra by accusing Modi Sarkar?

Why were these migrant workers forced to leave Maharashtra? Why were these migrant workers allowed to violate "Lockdown"?

We had seen such problems before when a large number of people gathered near Kurla station on the rumors of special trains to take them to home states. Maharashtra state government failed to prevent the gathering as well as dispelling them quickly. State government does get some blame if migrants are fleeing the state in this manner, violating the lock down.

The migrants getting killed in this accident is a sorry news. But if Con Party wants to do politics over it, then it is in rough pitch itself.
