Deaths, Suicides, Murders and Rape: How Govt Enforced Complete Lockdown Is Taking Indirect Toll on India

Ever since Narendra Modi government imposed Complete Lockdown in India for 21 days to protect people from the ongoing Novel Corona Virus 19 (popularly called 'Chinese Virus'), doubts have been raised whether the decision was right. India lacks basic infrastructure where millions of poor people struggle to meet two ends and country's economy was already witnessing a 'slowdown' for some time. In such a situation, this "complete lockdown" was sure to put the population in severe stress.

Here are some news of anomalies and unexpected results this lockdown is unleashing on the people. Apart from these, there are numerous cases of Police brutality all over the country where people venturing out even for necessary reason are being beaten up by the Police.

Due to such incidents and crime, the Lockdown has become a Humanitarian Crisis for the society which is already gripping with an uncontrolled epidemic. Government authorities are stretching themselves like never before and it is to be seen how history remembers this episode.
