Recently BSP which mainly plays caste based identity politics decided to go solo and not do do alliance with the Congress Party. I think the reasons behind this decision are the follows:
- Since Congress Party is a sinking ship and no one wants to board a sinking ship
- Since Congress Party needs BSP more than BSP needs Congress Party
- Since Mayawati can earn more by selling tickets to rich bidders than what Congress Party which is moving towards bankruptcy can offer her...
