There has been a
devastating fire
in Delhi today which killed 43 men so far. There are many aspects to it
which make us think more than just feeling sad. One is the manner in which state
government of Delhi is running. It seems Delhi state govt is good in only one
thing: giving away freebies to win voters. People who vote for AAP should do some
soul search. People should think what price they are paying for electing an
incompetent govt in state. Is it really worth it? My personal opinion is that
statehood and state assembly of Delhi should be abolished and some parts should
be merged in neighboring states while main part should be under direct rule of Center
as a UT. New Delhi being capital of India, we can’t take the risk of letting
low-level regional political parties play their politics in Delhi.
