Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri launched a tirade against AAP govt over its false claims. Here are a few pointers from his speech:
- The BJP govt at Centre conferred ownership rights on more than 40 lakh people living in 1,731 unauthorised colonies of Delhi.
- Under Jahan jhuggi, wahin makan scheme, two- room-set houses are being allotted to slum dwellers.
- Center has done re-development of Kathputli Colony and residents are expected to get allotment in a week or two.
- Delhi will get 11,000 buses within six months if BJP wins election as per BJP.
AAP Govt has been attacked on the following points:
- AAP govt is responsible for polluted water supply in Delhi.
- AAP govt deprived Delhi's residents from availing benefits of Ayushman Bharat scheme.
- AAP govt built a few substandard mohalla clinics but in case of any serious diseases, people would prefer good treatment at hospitals rather than visiting mohalla clinics, which lack facilities and staff.
- AAP government delayed Metro Phase-IV work.
- AAP government failed to engage 500 new DTC buses in Delhi in five years.
- Delhi is also facing an acute shortage of public transport.
- Only 3,000 DTC buses against the required number of 11,000 vehicles are plying on roads.
- In past four years, no new bus has been added in the cluster.
